Skills for Small Business
阿拉莫大学 区 is a proud partner of the TWC Skills for Small Business Grant. Through the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Skills for Small Business program, up to $2 million from the Skills Development Fund is dedicated to the backbone of Texas' business community—our small employers. Small businesses can apply to TWC for training offered by 阿拉莫大学 区. TWC processes the applications and works with the college to fund the specific courses selected by businesses for their employees.
Economic Development
The 西方教育 & 培训中心 (WETC) opened in 2006 and is located in Westside 圣安东尼奥, in the heart of the Edgewood community. The center’s location provides access for students and residents to acquire the advanced education and skills necessary to be competitive in the workforce, supports the region’s targeted driving industries, and provides the availability of a trained and ready workforce.
